The 12th Annual Hogtown 5K Beer Run, benefiting the Climb for Cancer Foundation, will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, at Haile Plantation West Park in Gainesville.
This annual event will take place at 8:30 a.m. at 9538 SW 39th Ave. Pre-registration closes at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18. Registration prices for adult runners $35 pre-registration / $45 day-of price, and for students/youth, $20 pre-registration / $25 day-of price.
Adult runners can enjoy delicious craft beer from Swamp Head Brewery at the finish line, along with root beer for the kids, and music and entertainment. Kids can sign up for the 1/2 Pint Root Beer Run. This 1/2 K run is open to kids 10 and under. The top three runners win a trophy.
