The 13th Annual ARTSPEAKS “Bringing Poetry & People Together” will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Historic Thomas Center in Gainesville.

The free event will start at 4 p.m. at 302 NE 6th Ave. and features local and regional literary and visual artists in a celebration of expression through poetry, spoken word, performance and storytelling.
Featured artists will also have books, art, chapbooks, CDs and other merchandise for purchase.
Participants are encouraged to RSVP at info@ARTSPEAKSgnv.org and should arrive at 3:30 p.m. Each participant will have 5 minutes to perform their expression.
