The 14th Annual Peanut Butter Challenge starts on Monday, Sept. 29, with donations being accepted at the UF/IFAS extension offices throughout Florida.

The event gives people across the state a chance to donate jars of protein-packed peanut butter to help hungry Floridians. In 2024, the Peanut Butter Challenge collected 39,898 pounds of peanut butter.

Donations will be accepted through Nov. 24 and agents and volunteers with the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension (UF/IFAS) and Florida A&M encourage residents to participate.
