The 37th annual Central Florida Peanut Festival will return Saturday, Oct. 3, at Heritage Park in Williston, bringing together residents and visitors for a day celebrating the peanut industry and Levy County’s rural heritage.
The free festival will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Heritage Park on NW Main Street in Williston.
The annual event is a celebration of the peanut industry that helped build the area and the community that continues to support it. Organizers expect thousands of visitors to enjoy more than 100 craft, food and business vendors throughout Heritage Park.
Festival activities will include:
- Live music throughout the day on the community stage.
- A kids’ zone featuring games, rides and activities.
- Local food trucks and a variety of peanut-themed foods.
- A car and tractor show celebrating Levy County’s rural roots.
- A peanut pageant.
- Shopping, entertainment and other family activities.
The festival is presented as a community celebration and is free to attend. Organizers encourage families to bring lawn chairs and plan to spend the day enjoying the food, entertainment and activities.
Parking is available at Heritage Park, with additional parking across the street at Fireman’s Park.
