The Gainesville Latina Women’s League will host the 21st Gainesville Latino Film Festival (GLFF), a celebration of Latin American film, music, dance, art and speakers from Sept. 11-28 at various locations.

All GLFF events are open to the public, and this year’s festival celebrates the theme, “Enriching Cultures, Empowering Communities,” and honors Colombia as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.

This year’s art exhibition and dance night mark the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
