Key Points

The Junior League of Gainesville will host its 35th annual Miracle on Main Street on Saturday to help bring holiday magic to 200-plus local families.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Trinity United Methodist Church (4000 NW 53rd Ave., Gainesville).

This charitable holiday event assists members of the community who need a little extra help around the holidays. Community members, along with Junior League of Gainesville members, donate funds to help the Junior League purchase Holiday gifts, diapers, oral supplies, and holiday meals. This year, about a dozen area businesses also hosted toy donation boxes.

Mainstreet does not have a paywall, but pavement-pounding journalism is not free. Join your neighbors who make this vital work possible.

Last year, 2,000 toys were given to 584 children and 180-plus packs of diapers and wipes were distributed. This year, we plan to serve over 200 families.
