The fourth annual Waldo Homecoming will take place Friday through Sunday, Sept. 25-27, at Veterans Memorial Park in Waldo.
The event kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday, will run from 10 a.m. through dusk on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at 14705 NE Waldo Road.
The weekend is dedicated to bringing together residents, former residents, families, local businesses, churches and community organizations to celebrate the community and continue building a tradition that brings people back home to Waldo, organizers said.
This year’s schedule includes:
- Friday, 5 to 10 p.m.: Praise in the Park
- Saturday, 10 a.m. through dusk: Homecoming Parade & Family Fun Day
- Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Throughout the weekend, attendees can also expect food, vendors, music, children’s activities, games and community fellowship.
