Santa Fe College’s 53rd Annual Spring Arts Festival continues its weekend of art, music, and interactive experiences on the Northwest Campus this Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13.

The festival, which starts at 10 a.m. each day, is free to attend and features visual art displays, live performances, and hands-on activities. It will be at 3000 NW 83rd St. in Gainesville.

This year introduces the festival’s first-ever Artist in Residence, Birdcap, who will create a live mural during the event. Folk artist Alyne Harris has been selected as the official poster artist, bringing her distinctive style to the celebration.

Visitors can attend artist talks in the Fine Arts Hall and explore campus attractions such as the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium, Teaching Zoo, and Museum of Earth Sciences, with train rides available to the zoo.

Free parking is available on-site, and Gainesville’s Regional Transit System will provide extended free routes throughout the weekend.
