
The Fifth Annual Melrose Witches Paddle is slated for Saturday.
The event will run from 3 to 5 p.m. with the paddle at the Trout Street Boat Ramp (6116 Trout St.) and then go to its second location from 5 to 11 p.m. for the party at the Melrose Center (307 State Road 26).
The cost is $20 to paddle or $40 to paddle and for paddle, including a 2025 paddle T-shirt and a limited-edition commemorative poster by local artist Amy Webster. The cost is $5 for students (ages 11-18). Kids 10 and under are free. Register at melrosemakes.org or in person at the Melrose Center.
Paddle then party with live music, festive food and drinks, costume contests, the famous “witch dance,” a kid’s area, a raffle and more.
Registration donations for the annual Witches Paddle benefit the Melrose Makes Christmas toy drive, the Melrose Fire Department and Melrose Music’s Scholarship Fund.
