The Alachua County Library District (ACLD) will be holding its Story Time on the Green: Holiday Edition at 12 branches starting Tuesday.
The outdoor events will feature holiday stores and songs with the library staff sharing holiday tales and leading activities for infants through 5-year-olds that will include fingerplays and storyboards.
“We’ll be celebrating three winter holidays: Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa with interactive stories, songs , finger plays, etc. especially for ages 5 and under and their caregiver(s),” said ACLD Youth Services Senior Manager Susan Wright in an email reply. “Some locations, but not all, will play a dreidel game.”
