The Acrosstown Repertory Theatre will perform the play “Antigone” starting on Friday and running through Sept. 27.

Rebellion has a price, silence has consequences and one voice can shake an entire kingdom in the upcoming production of “Antigone.” Set against the chaos of war, the story follows a young woman who dares to defy the state, risking everything to honor her conscience and challenge the limits of power.
The production, by Sophocles and directed by Justin Clement, explores themes of courage, authority, morality and the consequences of standing up for what one believes is right.
