The annual Nature Day Celebration hosted by the Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) will be at Little Orange Creek on Saturday. 

The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Little Orange Creek Park (24115 SE Hawthorne Road) and will feature wildlife demonstrations, a guided hike, nature activities, and historical Bartram impersonator performances. Local conservationists will be tabling and answering questions.  

This event does not require a reservation. It is recommended to bring picnic blankets and chairs from home.

There will be vendors selling fresh produce, books, crafts, and artwork. Musical guests will be The Weeds of Eden and Clay Dixon & the Picadillies. Food will be available for purchase from DB’s Rolling Dough Food Truck and there will be popsicles from The Hyppo.
