Alachua County Animal Resources will be hosting a “Whisker Wonderland” pet adoption event on Saturday.
Courtesy of Alachua CountyAlachua County Animal Resources (ACAR) will host a “Whisker Wonderland” pet adoption event to kick off its holiday adoption drive.
The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. at the Animal Resources headquarters (3400 N.E. 53rd Ave.) in Gainesville.
At the adoption event, pet adoption fees are waived.
“Whisker Wonderland” is also a pet supply donation drive. ACAR is looking for donations of dog treats, leashes, dog collars (medium and large), blankets, pet waste bags, plastic cat carriers and catnip.
Those not wishing to adopt are invited to the event to see the shelter and help spread holiday cheer.
