Alachua County is seeking public input for its Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) at three community meetings slated for January and February.

According to a release, the Alachua County Community Support Services, Housing and Strategic Development Division invites the public for comments and recommendations on LHAP.

The county will host three public meetings to receive public input on the plan. When finalized, the LHAP will summarize planned activities, affordable housing priorities and funding levels for the years 2026-2029. The plan will govern State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program activities.
