The Newberry Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is expanding its Free Paint Voucher Program through a new partnership with Alachua Habitat for Humanity (AHH), providing additional assistance to low-income homeowners while supporting neighborhood revitalization and beautification efforts.
According to an AHH release sent on Wednesday, the program provides eligible homeowners in the Newberry Community Redevelopment Area with exterior paint at no cost. Pressure-washing services also are included to help prepare home surfaces before painting.
Through the partnership with Alachua Habitat for Humanity, volunteers and staff will assist participating homeowners with painting their homes. The collaboration is designed to help ensure the program reaches residents who may need additional support while improving the appearance and preservation of homes throughout the community.
The initiative reflects a shared commitment to community revitalization, affordable housing improvements and neighborhood enhancement.
