There will be a lot of dancing and crooning in the kitchen this Thanksgiving when country music lovers tune in to 106.9 FM for all-country, all-Christmas music beginning at 12:01 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. 106.9 I am Country will feature continuous holiday country music favorites such as Elvis, Garth, Dolly and, of course, good ole Bing.
And the next day? Getting out of bed early to catch the Black Friday sales will be even easier thanks to DJ Larry Wilson from the Livin’ Large Morning Show. “If there is one thing country music lovers appreciate, it’s programming that gets the heart pumping. We’ll feature seasonal songs of hope, gratitude, love and family,” he said.
But it doesn’t stop there. All through Christmas Eve 106.9 FM will be spicing the station’s playlist with holiday songs in hour-long commercial-free specials guaranteed to make your heart smile. All-Christmas music will return on Christmas Eve because “It’s been a tough year for all of us. Let’s end it on a high note,” smiled Larry.
