Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) will host a community produce giveaway on Saturday, June 7, at The Miracle Deliverance Center in Hawthorne.
The event, which runs from noon to 2:30 p.m. at 6710 SE 209 St., will spotlight what’s at stake for Florida families if the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) expires.
AFP-FL will host the event in partnership with three local churches and four family-owned farms.
The event will provide more than $3,500 worth of food to over 100 families – the same amount the average Florida family of four could lose in annual savings if Congress fails to reauthorize the TCJA.
Participants will receive eggs, fresh produce, and bread sourced from local farms and businesses.
