The 12th annual ARTSPEAKS “Bringing People & Poetry Together” is slated for Sept. 8 at the Historic Thomas Center.
The 12th annual ARTSPEAKS: “Bringing People & Poetry Together” will happen at 4 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the Historic Thomas Center.
Featuring regional and local literary and visual artists, ARTSPEAKS gives each participant five minutes to perform with poetry, spoken-word, storytelling and performance.
Featured artists will have merchandise for purchase, and light refreshments will be available. Admission is free, and you can reserve a spot here.
The event, located at 302 NE 6th Ave. in Gainesville, is hosted by E. Stanely Richardson, poet laureate of Alachua County.
