
The Atrium at Gainesville, a local senior living community, will host Oktoberfest on Thursday, Oct. 16.
This fundraising event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at 2431 NW 41st St. and seniors, families and the community are invited. Space is limited, so RSVP to 352-810-9028 by Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Help bring the spirit of Oktoberfest to life with an evening of German cuisine, festive music and community connection, all in support of a local charitable cause. Open to residents, families, professional partners and the greater community, the event will offer a meaningful way to give back while enjoying the celebration and meeting new people.
There will be raffle entries for themed gift baskets with proceeds going to local charities. Atrium team members will be available to provide tours and share insight into services and lifestyle offerings

Happy Hour Hors d’oeuvres:
- Giant Pretzel with Beer Cheese Dip – Freshly Baked Bavarian-Style Pretzel served warm with Creamy Beer Cheese
- Kartoffelpuffer – Crispy Potato Pancakes served with Applesauce and Sour Cream
- Currywurst – Sliced Bratwurst topped with Tangy Curry-Spiced Ketchup Sauce
- Zwiebelkuchen – Traditional German Onion Tart with a Savory Custard Filling and Golden Crust
Dinner Entrées:
- Jägerschnitzel – Breaded Pork Cutlet topped with a Rich Mushroom Gravy
- Sauerbraten – Marinated Beef Roast, slow-braised until tender, finished with a Savory-Sweet Gravy
