Grammy-award winning artist Avery*Sunshine will perform a concert on Thursday at Bo Diddley Plaza in Gainesville..

This free event, part of the city of Gainesville’s “Journey to Juneteenth” series, will take place at 6 p.m. at 111 E. University Ave.

Along with live music, there will be food trucks and a vibrant community celebration.
