The Buchholz Players will perform “Arsenic and Old Lace” starting on Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Buchholz High School Auditorium.
Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on Jan. 22-24 and Jan. 29-30, with matinee shows at 2 p.m. on Jan. 24 and Jan. 31 5510 NW 27th Ave. in Gainesville. Tickets range from $12 to $15 and can be purchased by clicking here.
“Arsenic and Old Lace” follows the story of Mortimer Brewster, a drama critic who discovers that his beloved aunts are hiding a sinister secret involving murder and mayhem in their charming Brooklyn home. As Mortimer grapples with the shock of his family’s dark legacy, comedic chaos ensues, leading to a night of laughter and revelations.
“Arsenic and Old Lace is a delightfully wicked comedy where lovable characters and unexpected surprises keep the laughter going. Our cast has poured so much warmth and energy into every scene,” said Buchholz Players co-director Maddie Silverman in a press release.
