Cade Museum reopening Friday

The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention will reopen on Friday, June 5th, with a re-envisioned Cade Museum experience. The Cade will initially be open on Fridays and Saturdays for limited-capacity experiential tours with a talented team of Cade educators to lead small group tours..

In addition to maintaining current social distancing standards, our goal is to provide the most engaging Cade Museum experience within an environment that not only meets, but exceeds, safety standards. The Cade Museum celebrates invention so we are proud to partner with Violet Defense, Orlando-based creators of patented, ultraviolet disinfectant devices that eliminate more than 99% of bacteria and viruses. Bolstering the strict cleaning protocols already in place, Violet Defense’s mobile ultraviolet disinfection units – currently utilized in hospitals – will be used before and after each guided tour. This allows you to experience our Sweat Solution exhibit, Fab Lab, Creativity Lab, Gallery West, and Petty Family Gallery with the knowledge that this state-of-the-art technology brings a clinical-level of disinfection into the museum.

We have missed you, and invite you to you join us as we enter our second year of serving the entire community. On behalf of everyone at the Cade, welcome back to the museum!
