
The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention will celebrate its fifth birthday on Friday.
The museum will host a birthday-themed Cade After Dark Family Fun Night from 5-8 p.m.
Activities will include a face painter, balloon artist, cash bar and a petting zoo.
Tickets will be $15 for adults and children are free. The adult ticket will include one free alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.
During Cade Museum’s birthday weekend, guests will be able to explore the latest traveling exhibit entitled, “Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion” which will be on display through January 2024.
The exhibit will feature 40 full-scale machines that were built by scientists and craftsmen in Florence, Italy, following an in-depth study of da Vinci’s designs.
The Cade Museum will also open its new theme “Playing with Sound” on Thursday, May 25. Guests can journey through music with the museum’s main rotunda exhibit, “Music and the Mind: A Melody of Innovation” where visitors can see how music impacts the brain both physically and creatively.
