Ripple Theatricals will debut on Friday, Nov. 28, with its inaugural production, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” in Gainesville.
The performance will run from Friday, Nov. 28, through Saturday, Dec. 20 (see schedule below) at 5505 SW 63rd Blvd. Tickets are $15 to $20 and can be purchased by clicking here.
The performance will feature a 10-musician live orchestra and multi-generational cast led by 16-year-old director, Nathan Wynn.
Ripple Theatricals, a new community theatre founded in March 2025 and owned by Wynn. The theatre’s mission is to share the transformative experience of theatre and music with people of all ages, according to a press release.
“I founded Ripple Theatricals to make space for more theatrical and musical opportunities on the West Side of Gainesville,” said Wynn in the press release. “I believe theatre leaves a lasting ripple: it builds confidence both onstage and offstage, and serves as an outlet for community creativity. Having a live orchestra for our first show, musicians and performers of all ages, is a testament to what our community can achieve.”
