Chomp the Block, the official block party of the Florida Gators, returns for another football season.

Celebration Pointe announced that the event would be held every Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. before home football games.

Starting Friday, Sept. 2, the party will feature onsite food and drinks, live music, a kid zone, games, and giveaways. To finish the night, the Gator Spirit Team will lead a pep rally for those in attendance.

The block parties are part of an ongoing partnership program with the Florida Gators.

“The start of college football season is an exciting time of year in Gainesville, and we are thrilled to once again work closely with UF Athletics for this season’s exceptional, uniquely-themed block parties,” said Sean McIntosh, vice president of asset management at Celebration Pointe. “Celebration Pointe is a welcoming and convenient venue for these fun, family-friendly events.”

In addition to Chomp the Block parties, Celebration Pointe’s partnership with the Florida Gators includes a Gator Talk Radio show on Monday evenings at The Key Grill & Piano Bar.
