Comedian Brad Williams will bring his Growth Spurt Tour to the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Friday.
The performance will start at 7 p.m. at 3201 Hull Rd. in Gainesville.

Known for his high-energy performances and sharp humor, Williams has been described by the late Robin Williams, who said in a direct quote, “Prozac with a head.”

Williams has gained a massive following, selling out shows across the U.S. and Australia. His latest stand-up special, “Brad Williams: Starfish,” premiered in December 2023 on VEEPS to widespread acclaim. He has made numerous television appearances, including “The Tonight Show,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and Netflix’s “The Degenerates.”

Beyond stand-up, Williams has appeared in films and TV shows such as “Legit,” “Reno 911: It’s A Wonderful Heist” and “Mascots.” He also made history as the first stand-up comedian to headline a Cirque du Soleil show with Mad Apple in Las Vegas, earning rave reviews.
