The Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) is accepting applications from July 1 through July 31 for land management financial assistance contracts through the Forest to Gulf project.

Funding for the project is available through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) for 2026. The project area includes Levy and Citrus counties along with portions of Alachua, Hernando, Marion, Putnam and Sumter counties.

Forest to Gulf is a project through RCPP via the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and ACT. Forest to Gulf financial assistance funds conservation efforts to address watershed, on-farm, watershed and regional natural resource concerns by leveraging collective resources and collaborating on common goals.
