The Cotton Club Museum & Cultural Center will host the closing reception for “UNAPOLOGETIC Vol 2, the Censorship of Blackness” on Saturday, Aug. 31.

The free event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at 837 SW 7th Ave. in Gainesville.

The “UNAPOLOGETIC Vol 2, the Censorship of Blackness” exhibit features the works of artist Yvonne Ferguson. The reception will honor the artist as she prepares to relocate.
