Gainesville City Commissioner Desmon Duncan-Walker and Alachua County Commission Chair Ken Cornell will host a community listening session on Wednesday, July 22, to provide updates on local issues and hear feedback from residents.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church (1515 SE 15th St., Gainesville).
Residents are invited to attend the free community meeting to learn about current city and county initiatives, ask questions and share their thoughts directly with local elected officials.
The listening session is intended to foster community engagement by providing neighbors with an opportunity to discuss issues affecting their neighborhoods and hear updates from city and county leadership.
