Elder Options will host a free Community Health Fair and Falls Expo on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Senior Recreation Center.

The event will run from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 5701 NW 34th Blvd. in Gainesville and will help older adults stay healthy, informed, active and safe while connecting them with local health care providers, organizations and community resources.
- Hearing screenings.
- Dementia screenings.
- Pharmacology reviews.
- Fall-risk screenings.
- Additional screenings and health resources.
Community exhibitors will include Gainesville Health & Fitness, Concierge Care Private Duty, Simply Grab Bars, CapTel Phones, Palms Medical, Florida Acupuncture and Counseling, Accent Audiology, UF Health Home Care, UF Health Diabetes Center and the UF Institute on Aging. Additional organizations are also expected to participate.
The event will also feature raffles, bingo prizes, bags, promotional items and other activities.
