The Equip for Life Sira Fundraiser Banquet will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26.  

The event is scheduled from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Greenhouse Church (11200 NW 39^th Ave.) in Gainesville.  

Sira, celebrating 50 years, will feature guest speaker Marc Newman and give stories and updates on how to become involved in the organization’s life-changing and life-saving mission.  

The fundraiser event will help Sira’s staff and volunteers continue to provide hope and help to women and families looking for guidance and support with its pregnancy and parenting education programs.  

Sira’s services include:  

• Pregnancy testing 

• Pregnancy options consultations – we do not perform or refer for abortions 

• Ultrasounds 

• Pregnancy support 

• Parenting classes and education 

• Support for fathers 

• Material assistance 

• Post-abortion counseling 

• Sexual risk avoidance education 

• Adoption, medical, and community referrals
