The inaugural Hogtown Opry live music event is slated for Saturday.
The Opry will feature music from three bands and numerous guests who will perform original bluegrass, roots, and Americana songs.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the historic University Auditorium (333 Newell Drive).
The opening artists will be the Hogtown Opry Band, also known as Patchwork Plus.
Other musicians will feature singing duo Wil Maring and Robert Bowlin, and Grammy award-winning musician Louisa Branscomb will close the evening.
Tickets are on sale for $40 to $60, and they are available through the University of Florida Ticket Office. VIP Orchestra seats are available by calling 352-392-2787.
