Gainesville Community Playhouse recently announced its six performances for its 2025-26 season.

The six plays scheduled for the upcoming season include:

• Rent: Sept. 19-Oct.5
• James and the Giant Peach: Nov. 21- Dec. 14
• One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest: Jan. 23- Feb. 8
• Escape to Margaritaville: March 20-April 12
• Our Town: May 22- June 7
• Heathers The Musical: July 17- Aug. 9.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday night performances will start at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. at the Gainesville Community Playhouse’s Vam York Theater (4039 NW 16^th Blvd.)

Purchasing either a fixed seat subscription or a six-ticket flex pass gives you both a discount (six shows for the price of five) and exchange privileges.  Individual tickets to all the shows will be available online starting Sept. 2, or through the box office by calling 352-376-4949 starting Sept. 10.
