
The Gainesville Community Playhouse will perform “Ragtime: The Musical” starting Friday, March 21.
The play will run from March 21 to April 13 on Thursdays at 4039 NW 16th Blvd. in Gainesville.
This Tony Award-winning musical masterfully intertwines the stories of three diverse families at the turn of the 20th century as they confront the challenges and triumphs of a rapidly changing world. Through a rich tapestry of music and storytelling, “Ragtime” explores America’s timeless contradictions of freedom and prejudice, wealth and poverty, and hope and despair.

I saw the show last night. Wow! Congratulations to the cast and director, Rhonda Wilson. This show is so worth seeing.
