“Line by Line” examines line as a mark, boundary, path, division, connection, structure and symbol. Artists use lines to define form, create movement, separate spaces, map journeys and tell stories. Lines also can represent physical, emotional, social, political or imaginary concepts.

The exhibition is curated by Skip Snow and Katy Lemle and brings together artists from across the country for a diverse exploration of the theme.

The public is invited to attend the following events associated with the exhibition:

  • Aug. 28, 7-10 p.m. — Artwalk: Opening Reception. The exhibition will officially open with a reception at GFAA.
  • Sept. 3, 7-8:30 p.m. — Artists Meetup. The public is invited to meet and connect with artists participating in the exhibition.
  • Sept. 25, 7-10 p.m. — Artwalk: “Line Up.” An evening featuring collaborative art, storytelling and games.
