The Great Invader Raider Rally, an event that encourages the Gainesville community to remove invasive plant species, has opened its registration.  

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 throughout Gainesville. There will be a celebration and free prize drawing at Morningside Nature Center (3540 E. University Ave.).  

Follow the Link to register. The organization strongly encourages those wanting to be assigned at the same site to register once as a group. If you do not, you may not be assigned to the same area.
