The Gainesville Fine Arts Association will host “An Evening of Collaborative Art-Making, Storytelling & Line Dancing” Friday, Sept. 25, at the GFAA Gallery in conjunction with Gainesville Artwalk.

The free event will run from 7 to 10 p.m. at 1314 S. Main St. and is based on GFAA’s fifth Biennial National Exhibition, “Line by Line,” and will feature a variety of collaborative art activities throughout the gallery.

Participants can take part in group storytelling, with a story written one line at a time, as well as collective drawing and other collaborative art games.

The evening will also feature line dancing in the gallery’s backyard from 7 to 8:30 p.m., led by Smooth Flava.
