The Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce announced its third annual Gainesville Loves The Gators Community-Wide Scavenger Hunt.

The scavenger hunt will take place from Sept. 8-14. The Chamber will release clues on the Chamber’s social media platforms as 75 wooden alligators will be hidden throughout Alachua County at Chamber Member businesses.

Finders will follow the directions on their gator and upon completion will be entered into a drawing for prizes, including the grand prize: two season tickets and one parking pass for next year’s UF football home games, courtesy of UAA.

Mainstreet does not have a paywall, but pavement-pounding journalism is not free. Join your neighbors who make this vital work possible.

These prizes will be drawn at the Chamber’s Tailgate Tent on Gator Walk, Saturday, Sept.16.  Finders do not have to be present to win.
