GRU raises $20,000 for Williams Elementary in annual golf tournament

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) raised $20,184 for its adopt-a-school partner, Williams Elementary School, at its 26^th annual GRU Benefit Golf Tournament on Aug. 15 at Ironwood Golf Course.

The tournament included 23 teams with W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractor as the presenting sponsor, along with D&D Inc.; ARM Services; Jacobs, Oelrich Construction; Campus to Coast Realty; Heather Swanson; Ring Power; Creative Industrial Solutions and Varonis as supporting sponsors.

GRU said the proceeds will go toward school supplies and other student needs.
