
The Central Florida Community Action Agency, Inc. (CFCAA) will host the Hurricane Emergency Leadership & Preparedness (H.E.L.P.) Program Community Outreach and Fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 9, in Williston.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Park, 116 N. Main St., and is organized by community partners and local leaders to raise awareness and support for preparedness, response, and recovery efforts related to hurricanes and other natural disasters.
Proceeds will directly benefit CFCAA and its work to provide emergency supplies, temporary housing, and disaster recovery services to individuals and families in Alachua, Levy and Marion counties.
Event highlights include:
- Free hurricane supply bags for the first 100 households
- Community resource vendors
- Giveaways and preparedness information
- “Battle of the Chiefs” Dunk Tank featuring:

• Williston Chief of Police Mike Rolls
