Hippodrome announces new summer show 

The Hippodrome will present the Tony Award-winning musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" starting June 2.

The Hippodrome announced for its 50th season summer musical it will be performing “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.”  

The musical’s opening night starts at 8 p.m. Friday at The Hippodrome Theatre (25 SE 2nd Place).  

“A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” follows the story of Monty Navarro, an heir to a family fortune who is trying to jump the line of succession. The show won Best Musical at the 2014 Tony Awards.

The show’s schedule after opening night will be Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. through July 9.

Talkback with Actors: Sunday, June 11 after the 2 p.m. show 

Stay and Mingle: Thursday, June 8 after the 7 p.m. show.
