  • Take A Second Look: Cult Classics on June 13 pairs “The Matrix” (5 p.m.) with “Jennifer’s Body” (8 p.m.).
  • Sunday, June 14, brings a special event: composer David DiDonato performs a live musical score accompanying Fritz Lang’s silent masterpiece “Metropolis” (1927) — a film set, fittingly, in the year 2026.
  • “Ask E. Jean” (June 12–21) chronicles the life of journalist and advice columnist E. Jean Carroll.
  • “Legends of the Highway” (June 18–28) tells the inspiring story of the 26 Highwaymen, the self-taught Black artists who forged their own path to recognition in 1950s Florida. The film screens in conjunction with an exhibition at the Harn Museum of Art running through July 26. On Thursday, June 18, special guest Dr. Hazel Levy will lead a panel discussion after the film.
  • Father’s Day (June 21) features a family matinee of Pixar’s “Finding Nemo” at 1:30 p.m. 
  • The following weekend, Front of House Manager Nyq Smith presents his Staff Reel Pick: Miyazaki’s Howl’s “Moving Castle” (June 26–28), with a personal introduction at the June 26 screening.
  • Closing out the month, Cocktails & Classics presents “JAWS” on Saturday, June 27 at 8:30 p.m. — Steven Spielberg’s original summer blockbuster with a specialty cocktail included with every ticket.
