The Hippodrome Cinema recently announced its January 2026 film lineup that includes eight shows.

Located at 25 SE 2^nd Ave. in Gainesville, the Hippodrome will present a dynamic January lineup featuring documentaries, international cinema, beloved classics and community engagement events.

The lineup includes:

The Librarians

“The Librarians” will air from Jan. 2 through Jan. 18 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Stranger Than Paradise

“Stranger Than Paradise” will have a one-time showing on Saturday, Jan. 10.  

Sentimental Value

“Sentimental Value” will air from Jan. 2 through Jan. 17 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Army of Darkness

“Army of Darkness” will have a one-time showing on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Put Your Soul On Your Hand and Walk

“Put Your Soul On Your Hand and Walk” will air from Jan. 16 through Feb. 1 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Oklahoma

“Oklahoma ” will have a one-time showing on Sunday, Jan. 18.  

No Other Choice

“No other Choice” will air from Jan. 16 through Feb. 1 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

South Pacific
