The Hippodrome Theatre will be hosting “Hippvanna,” an event in celebration of Latin Heritage Month.
“Hippvana” will take place from 9 p.m.- 1 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, in The Hippodrome Theatre basement (25 SE 2nd Place, Gainesville).
Dance lessons for bachata will be held from 9 – 10 p.m. and will cover the basics of the Dominican partner dance.
The dance floor opens at 10 p.m. and DJ Elio Piedra will be playing music for dancing.
Participants should wear comfortable dancing shoes.
