Mainstreet does not have a paywall, but pavement-pounding journalism is not free. Join your neighbors who make this vital work possible.

The costume contest will include Small & Sensational, Most Creative and Best Ugly Holiday Sweater, with prizes. Dog holiday art is a new added bonus. Pose with your pooch for a photo with Santa Claus and treat your dog to doggie games, including musical chairs. We’ve even got a face painter for the kids.

For the humans, there’s a silent auction (just right for holiday shopping) and a raffle to get your dog’s face on a batch of beer that Swamp Head will produce.
