
The Alachua County Library District (ACLD) will host a Homeschool Resource Fair on Saturday at its Millhopper Branch.
The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Millhopper Library (3145 NW 43rd St).
According to the ACLD release, “Regardless of your homeschooling experience, connect with local organizations that provide academic support, volunteer posts, extra-curricular activities, field trip destinations and more.”
People already involved with homeschooling are invited to learn more about what the area offers to families with school-aged kids.

- Florida Museum of Natural History
- Florida Virtual School
- Gainesville Circus Center
- Gainesville Dance Academy
- Girl Scouts
- Ichetucknee Springs State Park
- Keep Alachua County Beautiful, Inc.
- Santa Fe College (Community Education)
- Sun Country Sport
