The Humane Society of North Central Florida (HSNCF) will host a pet adoption event on Saturday, March 1, at Petco.

The free event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Petco located at 6869 W Newberry Rd. in Gainesville.

All available animals will be sterilized, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Prospective pet owners can visit the HSNCF website for a sneak peek at the dogs and cats available for adoption by clicking here.
