In honor of World Mental Health Day, the Junior League of Gainesville will join the nationwide launch of “Every Woman. All Things” on Friday.
The new initiative is dedicated to elevating the conversation around women’s mental well-being and the challenges of mental overload.
“For 90 years, the Junior League of Gainesville has been rooted in serving the community and addressing its most pressing needs,” said Melissa Zawada, president of the Junior League of Gainesville, in a press release. “Every Woman is the next chapter in that legacy-shining a light on the silent weight of mental health overload that so many women carry. This initiative is about creating space, resources, and community where women can breathe easier, feel supported and know they are not alone.”
