
The 19th Gainesville Latino Film Festival will run from Sept. 14-24 at various locations with films, dance and music events.
The Latina Women’s League will host the 19th Gainesville Latino Film Festival in September.
There will be free admission to all the events, which will take place at various locations starting Sept. 14 and running through Sept. 24.
The list of events, locations and times are:
- Film “In The Heights” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at Florida Museum of Natural History (3215 Hull Rd.)
- Celebrate dance at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at Bo Diddley Plaza (111 E. University Ave.)
- Film “Coco” from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Headquarters Library (401 E. University Ave.)
- Music from Gilberto de Paz & Tropix from 8 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Bo Diddley Plaza.
- Film “Between Fire and Water” from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, at UF Smathers Library (1508 Union Rd.)
- Film “Bad Hair” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, at Harn Museum of Art (3529 Hull Rd.)
- Film “From the Land to your table” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, at Florida Museum of Natural History.
- Film “Encanto” from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Headquarters Library.
- Film “Bacurau” from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24, at UF Smathers Library.
