LifeSouth is partnering with local animal services to host a Pet Palooza adoption and blood donation event on Saturday, July 12.

This event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the LifeSouth Community Blood Center at 1221 NW 13 St. in Gainesville.

There will be adoptable dogs from the Humane Society of North Central Florida, Marion County Animal Services, Williston Animal Group and more. The Pet Palooza will also feature a petting zoo, face painting, and food trucks.

Blood donors will receive a free T-shirt. Double red and platelet donors will receive a $40 e-gift card. Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo ID is also required.
